Julie's Granola recipe



1 cup nuts
2/3 cup light vegetable oil
2/3 cup honey
1 tablespoon cinnamon
5 cups rolled oats
3/4 cup wheat germ
1 cup dried fruit

  • toast nuts in a 350* oven for 5-10 mins.
  • remove and allow to cool
  • reduce heat to 325*
  • in large bowl mix honey, oil and cinnamon
  • add oats and wheat germ and toss until throughly coated
  • spread oat clusters on large cookie sheet
  • bake for twenty minutes stirring once halfway through
  • allow to cool completely then mix with nuts and fruit
  • can be stored for up to three weeks
