The good news-
I found my soul mate. My BFF- 2gether 4ever. We are compatible on so many levels. We like the same movies. Both particularly fond of Jane Austin. We both love flowers and the idea of gardening, but not necessarily the weeding. She feeds the birds, watches them splash around in the birdbath. She is big on family- a Grandmother. Lots of pictures, a scrapbooker. She crafts, always trying new things. A shopper- she loves the craft stores. Her taste in rubber stamps- exquisite. Buys a lot of supplies-maybe not so good about completing projects-but oh her enthusiasm for starting! In her kitchen, a painted and stenciled hutch filled with cookbooks. She is computer savvy, knows how to use a scanner, a printer, her own copy machine! In her garage- a vintage fat wheeled bike. She bowls, she skis, she swims- a pair of crutches wait against the wall, just in case. Such a nicely decorated home, with a few quirky accents- a plastic Buddha, a Feng Shui bell. She IS Future Me!
The bad news-
She has died, with me never to know her name. Tim and I went to an estate sale this morning. At some point he had to go to the bank for more money. We will never meet but I feel like I know her. And I will think of her when I watch the birds splash around in what is now my birdbath.
