After....
Riley has wanted dreadlocks for a long time now. The Easter Bunny put some Dredhead wax in his basket and we finally started the process yesterday. Hours and hours of rolling, waxing and backcombing later, we have a good start. It will take at least a couple more months before the hair "locks" or mats up into proper dreads. I think it already looks fantastic! I would totally do this with my own hair but I'm pretty sure matchy Mother/Son hairstyles is not every teenage boy's dream so I'll hold back- for now.

WOW! You did such a great job:) Love the before and after pics. He really looks good with them, like this hairstyle was meant to be.
P.S. Do you mean I wasn't supposed to try matching all my outfits to Bob's when he was a teen? Could that be why he's distant? What about the shirt with a naked baby picture I liked to wear that said "Bob's Mom"? The peni was very small, so I thought it wasn't a big deal . . .
